Two Salinas men were arrested this week after leading officers on a vehicle pursuit. Officials say police attempted to pull over 27-year-old Orlando Martinez and 20-year-old Oscar Martin for a vehicle code violation Tuesday night. The two men then led officers on a pursuit through East Salinas ending on Pacific Avenue. The two suspects fled from the car, leaving behind a saw-off shotgun. Martin was apprehended shortly after and Martinez was found in the area with a live shotgun round in his pocket. Both were booked into Monterey County Jail.
