A parolee, suspected of selling methamphetamine, was arrested in downtown Santa Cruz this week. Officers served a search warrant at a motel on the 3-hundred block of Riverside Avenue Tuesday and found meth, scales, and packaging material. 33-year old Calvin Carlson, who was on parole for drug possession, was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on suspicion of transporting and possessing drugs for sale and a parole hold.
