Organizers of the amgen tour of California have adjusted the race course on the central coast, due to a mudslide on highway-1. Stage-5 of the bicycle race was set to be from seaside to paso robles, via highway-1. Now, because of the mudslide at Alder Creek, the race has been re-routed. Riders will now start in seaside and travel to highway-68, down laureles grade, and ride through carmel valley into Greenfield. The route then goes on highway-101 to king city, eventually landing riders in paso robles. Stage 5 of the amgen tour is set for may 19th.
