Monterey county will remain in the Orange Tier for at least 2 more week. That’s because the county’s case rate went above the needed metric this week. That after it met all 3 of the necessary metrics last week. Each county must meet the correct metrics for at least 2 weeks before it can move to a less restrictive tier.
