Funding for the new Monterey County Juvenile Hall may be shifted to the expansion of the Monterey County Jail. That’s because of the downsizing of the Juvenile Hall due to delays and cost overrruns. County supervisors are expected to consider this “shift” when they meet on Tuesday (October 27th).
