Wildlife Emergency Services, a wildlife protection group based in Moss Landing, has worked with Oakland Animal Services and the Department of Fish and Wildlife to rehome a troublesome turkey.
KION Television reports that Wildlife Emergency Services says the wild turkey, named Gerald, had been a menace at the Rose Garden in Oakland for several months. To solve the problem and protect Gerald, he was captured Thursday morning and released in a habitat near other wild turkeys.
You can see the turkey on the KION website.
