The northbound lanes of highway 17 at Hamilton Avenue in Campbell are now open following a head on crash with a wrong way driver that left one person dead.
According to the C-H -P the crash happened during the 3-o’clock hour and they received multiple reports from drivers that a person was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of the freeway.
At this point it’s known that one person was killed and there were serious injuries. This morning’s early morning crash follows another head on, wrong way driver crash that happened yesterday on highway one in Pacifica.
