The annual The Big Sur International Marathon is scheduled to take place this Sunday. It is a point-to-point course run on scenic CA Highway 1 from Big Sur to Carmel and is held on the last Sunday each April.
The marathon will begin at 6:45 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.
