We’re looking forward to a week of big waves, starting now. Our wave forecaster Rocky Snyder (of Rocky’s Fitness in Santa Cruz) offered that forecast earlier this morning on KSCO’s Good Morning Monterey Bay. Rocky says the weekend will be mixed for surfing, but he expects a big improvement on Monday.
There is even a chance that – in December for the very first time – the Maverick’s surf contest could take place this coming week. But there is a concern that the waves may actually be too large.
