Dr. Joel Wallach

A biomedical research pioneer, Dr. Joel D. Wallach spent more than 40 years in the field of Veterinary Medicine, observing and researching the effects of individual nutrients on animal health, before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1982. Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

Dr. Wallach has been appearing recently with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM.

Asserting that iodine has been added to salt to help prevent goiters. Contending vitamin D3 is added to milk to help build strong bones in children.

A study funded by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 5% of Americans account for 50% of all health care spending. The study looked at three years worth of diagnostic and claims data found those with high spending on health care averaged $88,000 in 2017. Accounting for 19.5% of overall health care spending. Treating chronic health challenges such as HIV, MS, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes and cancer were those in the high spending group.

She was denied a drug that inhibits infections by her insurance company. The company saying the drug wasn't necessary. Ultimately the patient got an infection and had to be hospitalized. Researchers from Stanford University School of Medicine are warning women to be wary of surgeons try to get them to have double mastectomies. The warning that unscrupulous doctors are telling women they have the "breast cancer gene". All to get them to have their breasts removed proactively to "save their lives".

Supposedly to prevent SIDs (sudden infant deaths) by not allowing babies to sleep on their stomachs. Doc contends that the main stream medical industry has the cause of SIDs all wrong. Asserting that SIDs are caused by cardiomyopathy heart attacks due to a single nutrient deficiency.
