Monologue

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing the COVID 19 numbers of infections and deaths. Comparing the numbers between Peru and Vietnam. With Vietnam having a lot less infections and deaths. Asserting that the people eating gluten will be in big trouble if they contract the corona virus. Because the gluten kills the bone marrow where the immune system lives.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from Tufts University. Finding that those eating the highest amounts of superfoods packed with flavonols are 50% less likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease. Flavonols are flavonoids found in fruits and vegetables. Including kaempferol, quercetin, myricetin and isorhamnetin. These nutrients are found in foods like kale, tea, beans, spinach, broccoli, onions, apples, berries, citrus fruits, capers, wine, oranges, tomatoes, pears and olive oil.
