Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing a report out that claims the human body has the genetic ability to live to be 1000. Citing the statistic that professional athletes don’t live as long as couch potatoes. Stating that these athletes have the best medical care and get the best food. But most don’t supplement the soup of nutrients they sweat out while working out and playing their sports. Contending that most sports drinks only contain 4 to 6 nutrients. While Youngevity’s sports drink Rebound FX contains over 100 nutrients.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of gluten free foods. Researchers found that 32% of restaurant foods labeled gluten free contain gluten. Also finding that 53.2% of pizzas and 50.8% of pastas contained gluten. The foods were tested using a portable device called a Nima. Under USDA law foods that contain less than 20 parts per million can be labeled gluten free. The doesn’t apply to restaurant foods.
