Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the failure of the Affordable Care Act. Asserting that insurance rates are through the roof with huge deductables. Contending that people need to start doing their own healthcare. Stating that people would also be able to save a lot of money as well.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study of post menopausal women. The study followed over 150,000 women for over 11 years. The women self reporting their weight at the beginning and end of the study. Also tracking whether the women gained weight steadily, lost weight steadily, maintained steady weight or lost weight and gained back at least 10 pounds. Finding the women who lost and gained weight were three and a half more likely to have a cardiac death.
