Recommending that men should not undergo routine screening for prostate cancer at any age. Stating the tests are not reliable enough at detecting prostate cancer. Contending the harms of the test such as false positives do not outweigh potential benefits. A recent study looked at medical records at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center between 2010 and 2015. Finding since the new guidelines were release the number of PSA tests performed has not gone down.
