Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

A PARTY BEING HELD AT A KING CITY FIREHOUSE IS BEING INVETIGATED, THAT AFTER KING CITY POLICE OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A 1:16 AM REORT OF SHOTS FIRED.   OFFICERS ARRIVED ON SCENE TO FIND A PARTY BEING HELD BY A VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER, WITH ASSISTANCE FROM MONTEREY COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES, SOLEDAD AND GREENFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENTS A LOADED FIREARM WAS RECOVERED AND THE PARTY GOERS WERE DISPERSED.  SOURCES SAYTHE GUN RECOVERED WAS USED TO FIRE SEVERAL ROUNDS INTO A PARKED VEHICLE. FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS WERE CALLED INTO SECURE THE BUILDING. NO SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED, ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ON THE INCIDENT IS URGED TO CONTACT THE KING CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
