Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL IS CURRENTLY OFFERING A TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM.    THE START SMART PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP TEENAGERS LEARN ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES THAT COME WITH BEING A LICENSED DRIVER. PARENTS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.    THE PROGRAM WILL COVER A RANGE OF TOPICS INCLUDING CALIFORNIA TRAFFIC LAWS, TIPS ON AVOIDING TRAFFIC COLLISIONS, AND DUI AWARENESS.    THE CLASSES ARE FREE.   THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE HELD NEXT TUESDAY, APRIL 15TH, FROM 6 TO 8 P-M AT THE APTOS BRANCH OF THE SANTA CRUZ PUBLIC LIBRARY.    FOR MORE INFORMATION, CONTACT THE SANTA CRUZ C-H-P OFFICE.
