a friday evening fire in zayante went to 2 alarms in the 9500 block of zayante road. firefighters initially had to hold back from the blaze because of exploding ammunition. nearby loch lomond supplied water to a helicopter that fought the blaze. an air-tanker also dropped fire-retardant until it was safe for fire crews to get close to the fire.
