York School started out by donating their stash of N-95 masks (that they bought and stored), after they had to evacuate the school in 2013, because a controlled burn had jumped its containment lines….and they had to evacuate the school. Now the school’s Director Of Technology is working with some students (virtually, of course) to design and make 3-D printed (and doctor approved) Swab Shields and Intubation Cubes. The Director Of Technology, along with the Chair Of The Science Department, are the only 2 working directly with the 3-D printer at the school, however, York students have helped with the design, and much of the paperwork (that is part of this project).
