Several streets will be closed while the Strawberry Festival is held in Watsonville this weekend. 9 palettes of local strawberries have been delivered, which is about 10,000 boxes of strawberries. The event celebrates not just the local crop, but the city’s 150th anniversary. Money raised by this event goes to help support 13 local charities. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. both days.
