3 people were arrested and another was cited on drug related charges yesterday in Watsonville. 31-year old Juan Meras was arrested around 4 p.m. after he was seen selling Heroin in a parking lot of a market on the 14-hundred block of Freedom Boulevard. He was found with 6-grams of Black Tar Heroin along with drug paraphernalia. Officers then stopped the vehicle who Meras was seen having contact with, and arrested 24-year old Maksym Arestin and 26-year old Veronica Carrillo on multiple charges including drug possession and parole violation. Officers then used Mera’s cell phone to set up a reverse buy operation and cited 35-year old Jesus Avalos Colimonte for a misdemeanor violation of soliciting to purchase narcotics.
