A 21-year-old man was stabbed during an altercation in Watsonville on Friday evening. Watsonville police officers were called to freedom and airport boulevards, after receiving reports of a fight. Originally, officers believed that the stabbing victim had been accosted by a group of men. however, after an investigation, it was determined that the stabbing victim was acting as an aggressor. The man was air lifted out of the county to be treated for injuries described as life-threatening. Watsonville police officers did not immediately locate any suspects.
