Residents in Watsonville were able to extinguish a fire today(tues), that began in a granny unit on the 1-hundred block of Anderson drive. the blaze ignited at 3:45 p.m., when dry corn husks caught fire in an oven’s storage-drawer. The fire was put out with a fire extinguisher, before Watsonville firefighters arrived. The oven was damaged, but the surrounding structure was not. No injuries were reported.
