Fire crews battling a house fire in the Watsonville area have managed to halt the flames from spreading to nearby diesel fuel tanks. The fire on the 8-hundred block of casserley road is not yet contained, but forward progress has been stopped, according to a cal-fire spokesperson. No injuries have been reported in the blaze; so far the house is the only structure to be destroyed.
