an anonymous tip led to the arrest of a watsonville man wanted for attempted murder. watsonville police have actively pursuing 27 year old ramiro castillo since he evaded capture by the swat team following an attempted murder in june. 3 other suspects were arrested at that time, however castillo remained at large until friday afternoon, when a tip led officers to a home on evelyn drive, as police attempted to serve the warrant the suspect fled, jumping several fences before being aprehended in a neighbors yard. castillo was booked into santa cruz county jail. bail has been set at 750-thousand dollars.
