A Soquel woman was air-lifted to an out-of-county trauma center today after being struck by a vehicle, who drove into oncoming traffic. The Soquel San Jose Road accident occurred when a Toyota Highlander, driven by a 23-year old man from England, turned into the wrong lane from Terrace Grove Lane and hit the woman and her husband who were traveling northbound in their Toyota Sequoia. The woman’s injuries are unknown at this time, meanwhile, a CHP officer says that different driving habits of European countries and our country, may have been a factor to the English man’s confusion when he entered the wrong lane.
