7th and 8th graders in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties still have time to get their entries in for a writing contest. The Ambassadors Of Compassion Story Writing Contest invites teens to write an 800 to 1,000 word fiction, or non-fiction, piece about how animals and people help each other.
