Police in Watsonville today put together goodie bags they will be giving as part of a drive-thru Trunk or Treat event tomorrow.
Watsonville officers and police staff assembled 1,000 goodie bags that will be handed out at the event, which will be held Friday night at Ramsay Park from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. or as long as supplies last.
Families that go to the event are asked to enter the park through Main Street, stay in their cars and wear face coverings.
Ace Hardware on Main Street has donated 1,000 paper bags and 10 large bags of candy, and Watsonville Community Hospital has provided 1,000 mini hand sanitizers. Police said several other organizations will also be part of the event.
