A 60 year-old woman, who was involved in a fatal collision in Seaside last year, won’t face manslaughter charges, but will face 2 lesser charges. That’s because although she was driving on an expired license and without insurance, the Monterey County D.A.’S Office determined there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she caused the death of the victim. Along with that, the victim’s injuries were consistent with him driving his motorcycle too fast, before his motorcycle and the woman’s van collided.
