A Pleasanton woman drowned in Half Moon Bay after helping to save three people on Sunday night. Aarti Senthilvel was visiting the beach with family and friends when 11 members of the group were swept into the water by the waves. In the commotion of making sure children in the group were safe, the group did not realize Senthilvel was drowning. Authorities are warning beach goers to be mindful of the ocean currents.
