A Santa Cruz county woman has been charged with a September car-jacking, as well as several other felonies. Although 34 year-old Julie Cabibi, is not also accused of having started the 391-acre Bear Fire, she did live on the property (on the 800 block of Bear Creek Canyon Road) where the wildfire began….and she is said to have dated 55 year-old Marlon Coy, who has been accused of starting the blaze that destroyed 4 buildings, 2 other structures, 5 RVs, and 17 cars. In the past, Cabibi has pleaded guilty to a 2017 charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm and a stolen vehicle.
