(8:43) SALINAS- A Salinas woman has been arrested for allegedly brandishing a weapon at a library worker. Authorities say that at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday a female employee was verbally assaulted by a group of transients when she attempted to report for work at a North Main Street library, the employee fled the area when 38 year old Sarah Dean pulled a handgun from a purse. The employee returned a half hour later to find Dean waiting for her. Police were called and located Dean nearby, a search of her vehicle uncovered a BB gun pistol replica. Dean was booked into county jail.
