Scotts Valley police arrested a 53-year-old woman after she reportedly tried to break into a home there.
Tina Hughes was arrested Wednesday morning and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail after she reportedly tried to break into a home in Scotts Valley.
Police were called when the resident of the home said she was home alone and heard someone trying to break in.
Officers found Hughes at the scene and took her into custody.
