Second Place / Scott Phree: Two tickets to Saturday night Sharks

“I am not asking for myself but my Vietnam Vet and long time friend Michael Lang. The only sport in which he’s interested is hockey and his favorite team is the Sharks. He recently went to Palo Alto and was diagnosed with cancer. He’s in the hospital now having surgery and when he recovers, I know that this could go a long way towards a healthier state of mind. This tactic may be considered low by some but he is my longest known friend (since ’87) and would love to do anything I can to ease his suffering, including playing the Sympathy Card. Third Place: Bob Stewart: Two tickets to Saturday night Sharks

“The two tickets would go to my two daughters who are each extremely avid and vocal Sharks fans. My daughters are visually impaired (RP). The March 5 Sharks event is my youngest daughter’s 33rd birthday. Elizabeth is employed at Travis Airforce Base as a callcenter agent. Older daughter, Katherine, is a social worker working with Alzheimers patients. Going to the Sharks game and staying overnight at the SJ Hilton would be the ULTIMATE gift!!”
