A WILDLAND FIRE BURNED ABOUT A QUARTER ACRE NEAR THE TRACKS FOR ROARING CAMP RAILROAD OVER THE WEEKEND. THE BLAZE WAS CALLED IN AROUND 5 P-M SATURDAY. BECAUSE FIREFIGHTERS COULD NOT GET TO THE ROUND BY ROAD, A HELICOPTER WAS DISPATCHED SO THE FLAMES COULD BE DOUSED FROM ABOVE. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED.
