A small wildfire was extinguished yesterday morning at Wilder Ranch State park just North of Santa Cruz. The 9:30 a.m. blaze burned about 100-square feet. No one was injured and no buildings were burned. Firefighters remained on the scene for nearly two hours preventing any hot spots from occurring. The cause remains under investigation.
