A PLAYING FIELD AT WATSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL WAS EVACUATED FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS FRIDAY, AND OTHER NEIGHBORS WERE SENT NIXLE ALERTS. THAT’S BECAUSE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY 9-1-1 DISPATCHERS RECEIVED A CALL ABOUT A MAN WHO WAS CONSIDERING SHOOTING HIMSELF, OR MAYBE A FAMILY MEMBER, ON THE 300 BLOCK OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE. THE ALERT WAS CALLED OFF AROUND 5 P.M., WITH NO ONE INJURED AND NO ONE ARRESTED.
