Wed. p.m. UPDATE: Dolan Fire 09-09-20 20:03 J.S.

The Dolan Fire (which grew significantly in the eastern and southern directions) and jumped Nacimiento-Ferguson Road, has now burned more than 93,550 acres and the containment has dropped to 20 percent.

3 firefighters were airlifted to a Fresno hospital Tuesday afternoon after a “shelter deployment” near Nacimiento Fire Station involving 14 firefighters took place. The station was destroyed in the burnover. 1 of the airlifted firefighters (who was initially listed in Critical condition) has been upgraded to Stable condition, while the other 2 were listed in Fair condition.

Firefighters on the eastern perimeter of the Dolan Fire are scouting along Kern Ridge in an effort to determine how best to use the 2008 Indian Fire’s burn scars to help them create containment lines for the Dolan Fire.

People in Zones 24, 26, and 28 were ordered to evacuate yesterday morning. Those areas include Arroyo Seco Road and Lucia.  An Evacuation Order was also issued for Zone-L in Gorda.
