Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies seized multiple weapons from a convicted felon on Sunday. The items, which included a 12-gauge shotgun, 22-caiber revolver, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia, were seized from a king city residence on the 1-hundred block of Carlson street. 37-year-old rigoberto cortez is expected to face multiple charges for possessing the items. He is banned from owning weapons due to prior convictions and gang associations.
