Salinas police officers arrested 3-people Sunday on weapons-related charges. officers on the violence suppression unit recognized a man in the Northridge mall parking lot, whom was known to be on probation. Officers initiated a probation search of 26-year-old Michael gonzales’ vehicle, and allegedly found a loaded gun in the waistband of a juvenile passenger. The gun was determined to have been stolen; all 3 suspects were arrested. 2-male juveniles were booked into monterey county juvenile hall, while Gonzales was booked into monterey county jail.
