A 25-year-old man was arrested in santa cruz this morning, after lifeguards noticed him with a semi-automatic handgun. Just after 4 a.m., Salinas resident james gray was found with the weapon, lying under a lifeguard tower on main beach. he was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant, and was arrested. Gray is facing several charges, including accusations of stealing a car. The gun he was found with was also stolen, and police are trying to determine who owns it.
