Watsonville Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that destroyed the rear side window of a vehicle in Watsonville yesterday. The occupants of the damaged car, two men aged 19 and 22, were pulling away from a stop sign when the car next to them fired one shot into the vehicle, shattering the window. The shooters said nothing to the victims leading up to the incident. The driver of the victimized vehicle reportedly told police that he did not know of any motives for the shooting, but he knew he was being followed. The victims were unable to give a description of the shooters. No one was injured in the incident.
