The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has detained several people in connection with a gang related shooting. Shortly after 3 p.m Sunday deputies responded to Rancho Road near Buena Vista Drive to investigate reports of gunfire. At the scene police located a gunshot victim. The victim was transported to a trauma center and the area was closed off until four people were taken into custody. Multiple weapons were also seized.
