Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place on the outskirts of Watsonville Friday morning. Shortly after 11:30 a.m., police arrived to Riverside Drive and Industrial Road to a reported shooting. At the scene officer detained a suspected shooter while the victim was stabilized before being flown to a trauma center. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact authorities.
