The Watsonville Police Department has announced it will be holding a property recovery day following a theft investigation. Late last month, police arrested 22-year-old Ernie Ortiz, who was found in possession of around 140 items of property believed to have been stolen. A majority of the items have not yet been reclaimed, including bicycles, cell phones, computers, car stereos, and power tools. The property recovery day is scheduled to be held Friday, January 23rd from 10 to 1 p.m. at 320 Harvest Drive. Those seeking to reclaim property must bring proof of ownership and their case number.
