Watsonville wants to protect affordable housing with new zoning regulations for mobile and manufactured homes.
Each of watsonville’s nine mobile home parks would be protected from development under a special use permit.
The proposed “r-mh zone ordinance” received 100 percent support from the city council last week and will return to council members February 12th for adoption.
