An off-duty Watsonville police officer provided information leading to the arrest of two men on vehicle theft charges.
Police said the off-duty officer saw the two men casing vehicles in a neighborhood near Lighthouse Drive and reported it to the department.
Officers said they found the SUV with the two suspects inside.
Both are facing vehicle theft and petty theft charges, but one also faces obstructing and resisting an officer charges.
