A Watsonville man was fatally shot during a confrontation in Tuolumne County last week. Authorities say that a 36 year old man entered a couple’s tent at Deadman’s campground in the Stanislaus National Forest early Thursday morning. The intruder then attempted to climb on top the woman and was subsequently shot by the woman’s boyfriend. No arrests have been made at this time.
