Police are searching for two male suspects responsible for shooting a teen while he was riding his bike in Watsonville Wednesday night. The fatal shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Airport Boulevard near Ross Road. The victim, whose name and age has yet to be released, was shot multiple times and died on the way to the hospital. Police are looking for an older black two-door Honda Civic, which the murder suspects were driving at the time of the incident. This shooting appears to be gang motivated and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Watsonville police.
It is unclear whether this shooting is related to anther shooting that took place in Watsonville on Bowker Road an hour prior to this incident Wednesday night. There were no injuries and it is currently under investigation.
