A grass fire sparked on Sunday afternoon in the Watsonville area.
The fire grew to nearly two acres and was located east of Highway 1 between Green Valley and Main Street overcrossing.
The fire was promptly quelled thanks to the efforts of Watsonville Fire, Pajaro Valley Cal Fire, Aptos/La Selva Fire, and North Monterey County Fire.
No damages to property or injuries were reported.
