A Watsonville teen was arrested last night after attempting to rob a convenience store at knife point. 18-year old Giovanni Zamora pulled a knife on two of the clerks at the East Lake store at around 8 p.m., demanded money, and then fled (with no money) in a dark-colored Honda. The store’s surveillance footage was used to identify the car. Zamora was taken into custody 3 hours later and was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
